Since 1998 I worked as a remedial therapist, of which I worked at MCN in Amsterdam Noord since 2001. My career as an exercise therapist began after being retrained by the UWV after I was discharged due to a herniated disc that ended my career as a nurse in 1988. I successfully completed my education, and after initially working in Limburg, I eventually ended up in Amsterdam.

At MCN in Amsterdam Noord, I was drawn to the patients with respiratory and tension complaints. I have been focusing more and more on this patient group and have been retraining in this.

After my working day, I spend a lot of time with my sons, giving them advice and being involved in their activities. I enjoy playing guitar and would like to pick up my guitar playing again soon. I am also interested in language and want to improve my language skills.  

Now that I am well past retirement age, I am quitting MCN after all these years. I am looking forward to the space I will have for my hobbies.   Looking back, I look back at the great period at MCN. I thoroughly enjoyed working there.   Both with my colleagues, referring physicians and most importantly with all those thousands of patients!
