I have been part of the team at MCN as a physical therapist and McKenzie therapist since June 2019. I trained as a physical therapist at Thim van der Laan in Nieuwegein, and later specialized as an accredited McKenzie therapist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why did I choose McKenzie therapy? It is a science-based method that encourages active patient engagement, which I think is very important. I primarily see patients with neck, upper and lower back pain, with or without radiation to arms or legs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Human movement has always fascinated me, and treating complaints of the spine appeals to me a lot. But it is mainly the person behind the complaint that fascinates me.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a physical therapist, I want to make a difference by listening carefully to the patient and working with them to create a treatment plan. It gives me satisfaction to offer people tools so that they can regain control of their symptoms and take steps toward recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why do I work at FysioMCN? It is an enthusiastic, fine and close-knit team, with many different specializations under one roof. This makes it possible to take any complaint to one of our specialists. Moreover, there is good cooperation among themselves and a diverse and exciting patient population.<\/span><\/p>\n

Outside of work, I am a mother of three children.
