I have been working as a physical therapist for 13 years, and my journey began at the Hanze University Groningen International Physiotherapy Program, where I completed my training in 2011. Since then, I have educated myself with various courses and trainings, including pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise programs for Asthma and COPD, dry needling, medical taping, Covid rehabilitation, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n My specialization is primarily in the areas of pulmonary physical therapy, edema therapy and intermittent claudication. Why I chose this particular area? During my internships, I was touched by the complexity of chronic diseases and the resilience of the patients living with them.<\/span><\/p>\n Most of my time I help lung and edema patients, but I also occasionally see neck and headache patients. Working as a physical therapist is special to me because I get to help people and learn something new from my patients every day.<\/span><\/p>\n A special moment for me is when a patient notices that he or she can perform minor daily activities again without tightness or pain. At PhysioMCN, I feel at home because we are a motivated team that is not afraid to think outside the box. We use innovative treatments and are always looking for the best care for our patients.<\/span><\/p>\n Outside of work, I enjoy my life in Amersfoort with my husband and twins (daughter and son).
